I settled in Wanaka in 2024 so I could enjoy all the natural beauties this regions has to offer . I have a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy and an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy in Melbourne. I am passionate about improving people's quality of life through wellbeing. Every treatment is tailored to each individual to get the very best outcome and experience. I love to focus on giving clients long term solutions for muscular, fascial and joint dysfunctions. I have a particular interest in tension-type headaches, post-natal care, TMJ dysfunction and clinical lymphatic drainage.
Prior to becoming a myotherapist I worked as a surgical veterinary technician for 10 years. When I am not treating, you will find me hiking in the area or completing my artwork side hustle. She also loves just hanging out with her partner Jake and cat Chi Chi.
* I am a registered Massage Therapist with Southern Cross and Massage NZ
Why Myotherpay?
Myotherapy differs from traditional massage. We are educated not only in massage techniques but also accurately testing, assessing and treating dysfunctions in the muscle, fascia and joints of the body. Have you had many massages, but only get relief for a few days or weeks? Or keep going back for the same issue? Try myotherapy!
It can help with

Postural/fascial dysfunction

Postural imbalances are a very common issue. These imbalances may not become apparent until later in life when we start to get aches and pains, stiffness and movement limitations. A myotherpaist can assess for these issues, treat them and give you the corrections for long term relief.
Muscular Pain/dysfunction
These conditions are not only limiting but often painful and interrupt daily life. Regardless of if the injury is acute or chronic, a myotherapist has the tools to test/assess these problems and treat them accordingly. We often use massage, dry needling, cupping to achieve great outcomes.
Joint dysfunction
Our joint health so heavily effects our movement, comfort and function. Joint problems not only can cause local pain, but actually effect whole muscular/fascial systems when they are not working properly. During a myotherapy session we asses and help to manipulate the joints to be more comfortable and functional. Don't worry there wont be any "cracking" going on here.
